I’m Hannah, a product designer and artist. Based out of Los Angeles, I currently focus on designing analytics products for internal customers. What draws me to art and design is the process of making order out of chaos. I’m inspired when I see great design provide elegant solutions that guide users through complex problems. When I am creating on my own, you can find me painting digitally or with watercolors and oils. I feel at home having a few paintings, both commissioned and personal, at all times. No matter how much I love designing for users, there is something about my painting practice that I can’t give up. Growing up cross-culturally in Kenya, I had to learn how to interpret and reconcile ambiguous and conflicting situations from an early age. This skill has ingrained in me an ability to empathize with my users and approach hard problems with comfort. I aspire to create work that users know was designed with them in mind no matter their background.
